Welcome to Flower Shop Florist Wellington Online, e-retail Website! These are our terms and conditions when place an order either in our florist shop, online florist website or phone orders.
Your rights of use
You have the right to access and use www.flowershopflorist.nz providing you comply with these terms and conditions and disclaimers when purchasing items from our website. If you breach any part of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your access to www.flowershopflorist.nz
Flowers and Gifts Substitution Policy
Flower Shop Florist Wellington prides our selves on stocking the freshest highest quality of flowers available. We put a lot of thought into the design and then execute the best floral design suited for the occasion and within budget. The images shown on Flower Shop Florist Wellington website is a guide only and we will endeavour to match as close to the photographs or to your specific tailored order due to seasonal availability. We have the right to substitute a product of the equivalent value., we do our best to contact the sender, but in most cases due to meeting courier deadlines we have to substitute to the equivalent value to meet delivery date and time.

Delivery and Message card Details
It is essential that all spelling and information of all names, company name, apartment or service property name, addresses, and telephone numbers provided by the customer are correct and advised to ensure a prompt delivery with no errors. If the delivery needs to be made to an apartment or secured property a telephone number of the recipient must be supplied to call and arrange a suitable time for delivery. Flower Shop Florist Wellington may remove any threatening, invasive of privacy, offensive, degrading or otherwise content in message cards.
Flower Shop Florist Wellington will deliver to the address provided. Flower Shop Florist Wellington takes NO responsibility for wrong information and additional charges will apply for redirection of any goods/flowers.
Weddings and Events Flowers and Hire
A deposit of 30% of your flower order is required once you have confirmed your order with Flower Shop Florist Wellington. We are not obliged to give you a refund should you change your mind or wish to cancel the order for any reason.
Please provided the deceased name and funeral home details if flowers need to be delivered to the funeral home.
For all flower deliveries in the Wellington region we use Ship My Trade Couriers and in some circumstances we have our own in-house courier service. We believe our couriers take up the most care in the hand delivery of your carefully packed flowers and gifts. If you do have an issue with your order please contact us within 24 hours to discuss.
Cancellation of Order
If you wish to cancel your order once it has been made, we are happy to offer a full refund. If your order has been placed and the flowers or gifts are on their way, we are then unable to offer a refund. An administration fee of $10.00 will be taken off the full value paid to cover the bank refund fees and time.
Flower and Gift Deliveries
Fresh flower deliveries are only available in and around the Greater Wellington region; this includes local suburbs and city of Porirua, Lower Hutt and Wellington. Gift Baskets and other gift items are available for delivery New Zealand Nation wide.
We (Flower Shop Florist Wellington) endeavour to deliver flowers/goods on the agreed delivery date. Flower shop florist is not liable for any late deliveries due to foreseen or unforeseen circumstances. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel any part of the order.
Mistakes happen! So if you have given us the incorrect address, we are happy to have them re-delivered for you at an additional delivery fee cost.
Privacy and Security
We will keep all your personal information confidential. When you put your personal details on to www.flowershopflorist.nz you are agreeing to our terms and conditions applicable at the time. We provide a link to these terms and conditions on our website. We will keep all your personal information confidential. We will not sell or give any of your personal information to a third party without your written permission.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
We use DPS direct payment gateway to complete online purchases. As part of the payment process Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

If you are not entirely happy with your fresh flowers or gifts please notify and return it back to Flower Shop Florist Wellington, 7 Coutts Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington within 24 hours of receipt of the product so we can discuss and decide the following course of action.
All goods returned must be in their original packaging and in a saleable condition. The purchaser or sender must meet the cost of returning goods and a brief explanation. Please note that freight and delivery charges are not refundable. Fresh flowers are perishable and cant be exchanged or refunded.
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
